Android malware steals payment card data in a never-before-seen technique. The attacker then emulates the card and makes withdrawals or payments from the victim's account. It uses the NFC reader of an infected device and hands it over to attackers, a new technique that effectively clones the card so it can be used at ATMs or point-of-sale terminals. (Ars Technica)
